Six String Theory- Best guitar album of the year

Lee Ritenour’s 6 String Theory has been awarded the “Best Guitar Album of the Year” for 2010 from Guitar International Magazine! The last track on this album is a solo piece played by Shon Boublil which is the only classical guitar music on the album. Matt Palmer, a classical guitarist was awarded the best up and coming guitarist of the year. Read more… In the UK “6 String Theory” receives top honors in UK’s Guitarist Magazine: The Best 50 Guitar Albums of 2010! Also, Dough Gallant from the PE Guardian in Canada rated the album third best album in his list of 25 best albums. Jazziz magazine also listed Six String Theory among the best albums of the year in their January 2011 issue.

in other news Shon is preparing for a concert tour in Russia. His one hour concert includes music by Astor Piazola, Fernando Sor, Joaquín Rodrigo, Francisco Tarrega and others.
